Before I became a mom, food was just food. I have no problem admitting that I was not health-conscious and certainly did not make purchasing decisions based on what was going to be the healthiest option for me or the Hubs.
I made purchasing decisions based on tastiness. Yummy.
I’m not saying that I’m now the epitome of healthy eating, but now that the Hubs and I have added a tiny
terrorist human to our family unit, food decisions are more important and take up more of my time.
And I know I’m not alone. I’m fairly certain the no. 1 complaint of moms all over the world is having to incorporate healthy foods into already difficult (read: annoying) menu planning.
Seriously. How many of you moms have said, “If I just didn’t have to figure out what we’re having for dinner tonight…” I have. I think I said it twice today.
